AISUSA FOUNDATION - PRIVACY POLICY

INFORMATION EVENING IN SYDNEY

As you may be aware, in 2006 a number of independent schools in Australia established The Australian Independent Schools USA Foundation (AISUSAF). The Foundation enables US based members of our school communities (Alumni, Current Parents, Past Parents and Friends of our Schools) or those with a US tax liability (US citizens or those with dual citizenship living in Australia and elsewhere) the opportunity to donate funds in support of the member schools through the Foundation and receive a US Tax Deduction.

At present there are twenty-seven Australian independent schools that are affiliates of the Foundation. Each of them is able to attract additional donations, via the Foundation, for the ongoing development of their institution. Since its establishment, the Foundation has distributed over US$400,000 to the affiliate schools in Australia. The Foundation also hosts biennial functions in the USA in partnership with the affiliate schools.

We are keen to see more Australian Independent Schools join the Foundation.

To that end, an information evening about the work of the Foundation will be held on Monday, 17 October 2011 at St Aloysius' College in Sydney. Present at the event will be Mr Doug Elix, Board Member of the AISUSA Foundation, together with Heads, Foundation or School Board Members, Directors of Development, and other representatives of affiliated schools.

The AISUSAF cordially invites all Heads of Schools, Business Manager/Bursars, Directors of Development and School/Foundation Board Members to attend this event to learn more about the Foundation and how the affiliate schools have benefited from the Foundation.

We look forward to seeing you, or a representative of your school, at the event. Drinks and cocktail food will be served.

If I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me or Murray Happ.

With best wishes,
Richard Quinn,
Chair, AISUSA Foundation Schools Advisory Committee
